Join us for our latest series of culinary events in which owner and master baker Carina shares tips and techniques that she’s learned and developed over her career. With vision loss and health challenges, cancer survivor Carina learned a love of food and a need to use all her senses to succeed in her chosen pastry career. Now, as a business owner she’s sharing some of the key techniques she’s learned and developed to make crave-worthy food that’s kind to one’s self and the planet. Join us for hands-on classes or entertaining America’s Test Kitchen style, trial-and-error demos.

Intro To Scandinavian Baking Class

Friday, April 25, 2025 Description: Carina Comer, owner of Carina’s Bakery is inviting you to the bakery for a unique, cooking class event. You’ll get to learn from Carina herself while learning how to make some delicious and intricate Scandinavian desserts. You’ll learn to make:
  • Bernhardt Cookies (aka chocolate biscuits. A multi-layer cookie covered in chocolate)
  • Lemon lavender medaljer (medallion cookies)
  • The third treat is a special surprise!
The class will be dairy free, egg free, and soy free, with mostly if not all gluten-free recipes.
  • There will be drinks for you to enjoy
  • You’ll get to take home a packet with all the recipes so you can make these desserts at home!
Price: $99 per person plus a 3% booking fee
