At first glance, traditional Danish Dream Cake looks like a coffeecake; baked in a rectangular pan with golden brown, nubbly topping. But a slice proves it to be even better, with a rich, moist crumb and a caramelized coconut topping. Ours is better not only because it's gluten free, vegan, and soy free but because it packs in even more flavor as we make switched to a coconut cake base and formed the topping using our homemade caramel along with the coconut. It's like a moist, caramelized macaroon on top of a flavorful sponge cake! We're currently selling a smaller version in the shop, but for now we're shipping round cakes that are about 4 inches in diameter. We ship 10 at a time so that we can give you a box that keeps them safe and shipping that's economical.
